PressDisplay newspaper database

Through University Libraries, Penn State students, faculty and staff have access to the PressDisplay newspaper database. With 1,000’s of national and international newspapers from 82 countries in 60 languages, PressDisplay delivers current news preserved in digital format. Some newspapers even have a “listen” option in which the system will read aloud the selected article – an excellent feature for those with reading or vision issues.  Some even offer translation in to other languages.

The database provides digital copies of more than 200 U.S. newspapers such as The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Chicago Tribune, and The Los Angeles Times. It also provides access to digital versions of more than 3500 newspapers from around the world and a free App that allows user to download newspapers to their personal device.
